Five Minutes (Pet minuta d.o.o.) was founded in 2007 in Zagreb, Croatia, with the mission of developing mobile applications for all platforms and solutions based on social networks. The company currently has 30 employees and several external partners and associates. Most of our clients come from the USA, UK and Austria, like Real Networks, Apsmart, AVL and OLX. We partner with the largest regional enterprises like Agrokor (Konzum), Europapress holding (Jutarnji list) and Vipnet.

The company started with social media portals - Ptičica, a Croatian photo sharing site, and Trosjed, a Croatian social network. Expertise built into developing social networks is now applied to developing solutions based on Facebook and Twitter, like Mnijenje, and in leading social media campaigns for various companies.

In August 2010, Five Minutes received an investment from the Slovenian VC fund RSG Capital for its global project ShoutEm, a white-label mobile social network powered by branded iPhone and Android mobile apps.

Our headquarters are in Zagreb, where most of our team is located. We have offices in Osijek (Quality Assurance) and sales representatives in London and New York.

Our development team consists of hard-core C++ programmers working on all kinds of mobile platforms and enterprise development, .NET guys swimming through the web stuff, Java experts covering server-side programming and a couple of mobile platforms, database gurus fighting their way through large databases and a bunch of specialised mobile developers.

Our quality assurance team based in Osijek is involved in everything we do from the first step and the creation of wireframes and initial usability testing, up to the final testing, product validation and quality assurance.

We are 100% buzzword compliant. You name the technology, and we've got it covered: HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, Objective-C, Java, .NET, C++, Oracle, SQL Server, Ruby on rails... and probably a dozen more left out. These technologies are merely a tool that enables us bring our ideas to life.

We live for challenging and demanding projects, no matter if they involve one developer for a couple of weeks, or a team of 8 for two years.
