Association of Croatian ICT Clusters - cro.ict
was founded in Rijeka, September 19, 2007 as a bottom - up cluster
initiative of the 6 regional clusters: DISC - Dalmatian IT Professional
Cluster, GRIT ICT Cluster Rijeka, ICT Cluster Varaždin, ITC
ISTRA - Istrian IT Cluster, IKS - Slavonian IT Cluster, MIT
Cluster - Međimurje IT Cluster and three other association:
I3, Internet Institute and Initium.
Support during the founding of the cluster was given by USAID
- Croatian Enterprise Promotion and German society for technical
cooperation (GTZ).
Now the alliance of Croatian ICT associations (cluster) is
a common denominator for seven smaller clusters that are comprised
of around 60 companies with around 700 employees.
Our partners are regional development agencies, business
incubators and technological parks.
At the moment our main supporters are Business Innovation
Center of Croatia (BICRO) and German society for technical
cooperation (GTZ).
