TIS.kis specialises in the development, implementation and maintenance of software solutions for mobile providers, primarily in the field of multimedia data transfer.

Our portfolio of developed and implemented solutions includes products that enable the reception and transmission of multimedia messages (message centres, delivery subsystems), systems for traffic control between message centres and Value Added Service partners, as well as payment (gateway systems), systems for Value Added Service shaping (Content Delivery Systems), and systems for automatic or hand remote configuration of mobile terminals (Device Management Systems).

Among systems for mobile telephony providers, other software systems have been developed, which facilitate service development and maintenance for Value Added Service partners, as well as integration with providers (VAS Integration Suite).

A special group of products are platforms for services development of available heterogenic information environments (SOA Systems), which also includes the implementation of a transferred numbers central database, as the central integration point of mobile and fixed providers for operations regarding changes of telecommunications provider without changing the user's number.

All solutions are developed in Java technology and tested on various hardware platforms and various IT environments. Also, implementation in the existing information environment is enabled, like integration of preconfigured system (delivery of software and hardware components).

TIS.kis, as part of regular maintenance of all systems, offers 24-7 service, with a response time of 30 minutes.

Message centres

XMMC - full functional MMSC supporting MMS1.2 specification
XMMC is implementation of multimedia messaging service (MMS) offering messaging services with a variety of media types to mobile terminals. While designing and implementing XMMC, particular care was taken to ensure high availability, throughput and reliability, ease of integration with external services and a clear path for future enhancements.
XMMC offers the following functionality: messaging, message storage, subscriber provisioning, various messaging transports and conversions, routing, mailet API, legacy support, message trans-coding and filtering, charging, statistics and reporting, cluster support.

XWAP - full functional WAP gateway supporting WAP 2.0 specification
XWAP is an implementation of WAP gateway, bringing WWW network services to wireless devices, e.g. it's a proxy server between wireless and WWW domains. It provides the following functionality: protocol conversion, HTTP proxy, authentication, DNS lookup, content encoding, session management, access control, access and error logging, URL translation, load control, cookie management etc.

XSMSC - full functional SMSC (SS7 - MAP)
A mobile networks core system responsible for handling the SMS operations of a wireless network.

Delivery subsystems

SMSBS - SMS Broadcast System (XSMSC Subsystem)
A system designed for mass sending of SMS from Value Added Service partners that doesn't need an SMSC connection.

MMSBS - MMS Broadcast System (XMMC Subsystem)
A system designed for mass sending of MMS from Value Added Service partners that doesn't need an MMSC, to protect MMSC from overloading during a mass distribution period.

Gateway systems

MGW - Message Gateway (ParlayX)
An MGW platform provides mobile operators a means to offer existing messaging, charging, and terminal location infrastructure to value added service providers. It offers various interfaces (primarily messaging) to service providers, at the same time enabling mobile operators full provisioning of Value Added Service providers (i.e. partners), as well as services and resources available to them. The system is built to be extensible, both with regards to performance, as well as interfaces, protocols and message types offered to service providers or used in communication with OPCO's messaging infrastructure.

TSRE - Transaction Server and Rating Engine (Parlay/OSA)
TSRE is system for exposing a mobile operator's billing services to VASP's in a consistent and unique way, shielding the operator's billing back-end. Besides exposing billing in a transactional manner, TS has a powerful Rating Engine that provides easy and extensible way of creating specific tariffs for different services.
