AB SISTEM DC(NG)
central station automation software is intended for the processing
of alarm data, sent to the computer from alarm receivers,
through the COM port. In central stations, dispatchers monitor
data arriving and, if needed, notify the proper authority.
It is also the dispatcher's duty to inform either the client
or the maintenance provider of any malfunctions in the system.
This software package is the successor to the very popular
AB SISTEM DC ,
which was developed by Alarm automatika d.o.o. in 1992, as
a part of AB SISTEM ,
our own business software for companies dealing with technical
safety systems.
AB SISTEM DC(NG)
supports all SUR-GARD
alarm receivers, including the SYSTEM III virtual receiver
and the new SYSTEM II IP receiver. Data received by
the alarm receiver is sent to the computer through the COM
port and the programme uses this data to inform its users.
AB SISTEM DC(NG)
is a modular software package, developed in Windows .NET technology,
and it supports the Windows XP/Server2000/Server2003 operating
systems. Different modules of the programme can be bought
separately, according to client's needs. For data storage,
an SQL Server is used.
Additional noteworthy characteristics include:
- Collaboration of Windows and Web applications
- Integration with video surveillance (DVC, DVC Project, VVM110,
etc.)
- Support for more than one computer monitor (video wall principle)
- Easier observation of un-acknowledged events
- Monitor adjusted to enable a quick reaction by the dispatcher
- LAN capability, which allows simultaneous us by multiple
dipatchers
- Support for different types of users (dispatcher, master
dispatcher, supervisor of central station, etc.)
Account owners have the access to their accounts over the
Internet, with powerful yet simple data filtering. The central
station automation software contains the following individual
modules:
EVENT PROCESSING is the main module, allowing the display
and processing of alarm events. This module represents the
monitor that dispatchers use to follow events. All events
are visible, ordered chronologically, with more recent events
placed at the top of the list.
The PROCEDURES MODULE directs the dispatcher through
every step of a response to an alarm and informs of all necessary
actions to be taken.
COMMUNICATION WITH RECEIVERS is the service application
that allows the reception of data from hardware receivers,
and their storage in the database.
The ACCOUNTS MODULE enables us to work with accounts
data. By using this module we can insert and adjust information
about the account code, title, format of communication, status,
zones, partitions and users.
The SCHEDULER MODULE verifies whether the predefined
events (openings, closings, tests) have arrived to the central
station precisely when we wanted them to come.
The ADDRESS BOOK MODULE is an application for inserting,
updating and querying data about the users of protection services.
Addresses can be found by using several criteria and can be
printed out. In the address book we can predefine cities,
counties and countries.
The SETTINGS MODULE permits us to set the variables
for customising the software according to individual requirements.
The VIDEO VERIFICATION MODULE allows for integration
with video surveillance systems (digital recorders DVC
and DVC Project ,
module for video verficationsVVM110, etc.). When the alarm
signal arrives from a certain zone, this application instantly
shows a video broadcast from the camera, providing that the
zone is supervised by a camera.
The REPORTS MODULE allows the creation and printing
of reports for a single account or for a whole group of accounts.
It is possible to choose either to print a certain group of
reports for a certain time period (for example, monthly reports)
or statistical reports (how many alarms arrived during the
last month).
The DRAWINGS MODULE offers a graphic display of the
status of the zone. The client can use predefined icons that
represent the parts of the alarm system.
Besides already described modules, AB SISTEM DC
in its basic version contains the module DC ARCHIVE
(events archiving). In addition, it is possible to order DC
SCHEDULER - DC CHECKING EVENTS modules (inserting data
for checking the arrival of events), DC PERIODICAL REPORTS,
DC MAPS (city plans for display of accounts), and DC
GRAPHIC SURVEILLANCE (graphic display of accounts).
ADDED VALUE
- Support in English, German, Italian and Croatian: 24 hours
a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
- Constant development and upgrading of the software
- Possible adjustment of the programme according to user's
requirements
- Workshops to educate users
- Integration with DVC
and DVC Project
video surveillance
- Communication with different hardware components
- Supports all known communication formats
- Allows the creation of user's formats
