Agencija za komercijalnu djelatnost d.o.o. is the only company
in the Republic of Croatia whose product range includes high-security
printing products as well as anti-counterfeiting solutions
for the commercial market, in addition to standard offset
printing. Within the high-security program, AKD prints and
produces passports, ID cards, visas, driver's licenses
and vehicle permits, as well as other documents under tight
security measures. However, the brand-protection printing
solutions have become more and more prominent and have
been taking a larger portion of the market share. The main
purpose of brand protection is prevention of the widespread
problem of counterfeiting.
AKD shall take the leading role in this area by incorporating
such security elements that will enable end users to differentiate
the authentic from the counterfeited products. The products
in question are made of various types of special paper, printed
in special inks and graphic techniques that may contain special
optically variable devices.
To keep up with time, the most important strategic focus
of AKD is to develop smartcard and RFID technology.
We are able to meet even the most demanding customers' wishes
with our wide range of services ranging from standard printing
to high security printing that consists of application of
security features onto the paper and incorporation within
the production program.
