Relationship Management System

Relationship Management System (RMS) has been developed due to the need to manage all relationships between an organisation and its clients (both external and internal), structured within the framework of a complex application.

COMBIS RMS system has been successfully used for years in the banking industry for collecting and unifying data on business relationship with a client (balance sheet, deposits, insurance instruments, payment operations etc.) and for reporting. Thus, the sales staff have more time to perform sales activities, without the need to spend so much time on data-collection from other applications.

RMS enables:

- Strategic sales planning according to clients.

- Planning by organisational level (from sectors up to relationship manager).

- Planning by products (short-term loans, long-term loans, demand deposits etc.).

- Comparison of achieved revenue to plan, which serves as a basis for evaluation of the relationship manager and other organisational parts, thus improving salary compensation systems and rewarding employees who contribute most to company revenue.

RMS provides the possibility to record all communication with a client, plan individual sales and campaigns, notification of outstanding invoices, block accounts etc. RMS provides insight into a client's contribution to bank net revenue, a structure of realised net revenue by types of product, a calculation of the impact of the price of a new product on client profitability, which subsequently improves negotiating possibilities.

For the implementation of the RMS system, we recommend Portal technology, which provides a unique interface for gathering all applications an employee needs in order to acquire all the data required to work accurately. One of the important advantages of Combis Portal architecture is Single Sing-On mechanism that enables performing the authentication process when logging-on the portal. Depending on employee authorisation, Portal architecture grants a unique insight into a complex business application giving access to precisely those functionalities an employee needs.

We have successfully implemented RMS on Portal in the banking industry, but it is also possible to model any other complex business system that has a multifaceted user hierarchy and heterogeneous business relationships that need to be systematically monitored, processed and planned, in order to maintain improvements in future business results.
